"Wind Cave Lightning Storm Clouds” This was such a cool experience, not at all cave related as Wind Cave didn’t really give me much there that I thought was photogenic for the project but then I had a nice night around a campfire with some new camp friends and then after we all finished up eating and were planning on going to a ranger talk a huge storm poured in. I was supposed to be hammock camping that night but instead crashed that and just figured I’d car camp and wham… the lightning started putting on a show. The streaks never got out of the clouds and at first I was disappointed but then I started to see the clouds getting lit internally and it was just so magical and special. I realized that there are tons of lightning strike shots but these colors and clouds were giving me something special. - I hope you enjoy.
